School of Music faculty member awarded prestigious residency

Hannah Moses, cello and chamber music instructor for the School of Music, was recently selected for the Chamber Music Society of Lincoln Center (CMS) Bowers Program as part of the Callisto Quartet. This highly competitive three-season residency allows participants to perform, tour and teach alongside CMS.

"Having the opportunity to perform alongside artists I have admired for years and join the prestigious ranks of CMS is incredibly exciting, and I look forward to bringing new energy and inspiration from my tenure at CMS to my cello and chamber music pedagogy at Kent State," says Moses.

This year’s participants in The Bowers Program were chosen from an international pool of 192 individual candidates and 17 ensemble candidates through competitive auditions.
