Academic Personnel
Among its many responsibilities, the Office of Academic Personnel maintains the official faculty records of the university and acts as a resource for university policies and procedures regarding faculty.

Curriculum Services
Curriculum Services is responsible for analyzing, facilitating and monitoring proposed changes to curriculum and the implementation of those changes as approved by governing bodies.

Faculty Affairs

Center for Teaching and Learning
The Center for Teaching and Learning provides opportunities, leadership and support for faculty and future faculty members of KSU to help them grow in their professional and scholarly work.

Office of Global Education
The Office of Global Education plans, coordinates, sustains and monitors the university's global initiatives, exchange programs and support services for international students and scholars.

Office of Strategy Management
The Office of Strategy Management provides strategic vision and leadership in the delivery of organizational portfolio and project management, strategic planning and university initiatives to support the vision, mission and priorities of the university.

Institutional Effectiveness (IE)
Institutional Effectiveness works to further the university’s mission by overseeing various key functional areas including institutional research, accreditation, assessment of student learning, and academic program review.

  • Accreditation, Assessment and Learning
    Accreditation, Assessment and Learning supports the university community in the continuous improvement of the educational experience for our students. AAL advises units on matters related to both institutional and specialized accreditation and oversees the university-wide processes for student learning assessment and academic program review.
  • Institutional Research
    Institutional Research plays a pivotal role in advancing the university's mission through the collection, analysis, and distribution of data to guide decision-making processes across the institution. With a focus on research, data analysis and external reporting, IR serves a broad range of stakeholders, aiding Kent State in upholding institutional quality while responding to state and federal requirements.

University Libraries

The eight-campus Kent State University library system is comprised of fourteen libraries. University Libraries is a member of the prestigious Association of Research Libraries.
