How has your time at Kent State helped you reach where you are in your career now?
The variety of degree programs really let me explore my interests and to discover my passion for public health. The degree program itself provided me with skills in my own concentration but also in other concentrations in public health which I feel made me more marketable and qualified for my current position.
What do you enjoy most about your career?
I feel like I'm actually making a difference. Also, I am never doing the same thing twice, I enjoy the variety. I help to gather data and then analyze it to look for patterns, then write reports to help spot trends. I like helping to move processes forward.
What advice do you have for current Kent State students?
Make as many connections as possible with professors and other students. You never know when you’ll need a recommendation or run into old classmates.
How do you stay connected to Kent State today?
My brother is still a student in the Photo Illustration program and I like to keep up with what’s happening around campus through his experiences.
