John Hoornbeek, Ph.D.

Congratulations to John Hoornbeek, Ph.D., professor of health policy and management in the CKent State ollege of Public Health, for co-authoring the textbook American Public Policy.

Now in its thirteenth edition, American Public Policy provides a comprehensive yet accessible overview of the policymaking process, from procedural approaches and policy instruments to in-depth analysis of specific policy issues. First author B. Guy Peters and new coauthor John Hoornbeek ensure that the mechanisms of complex governmental policy process are understandable to a range of reades as they discuss a variety of topical policy areas.

Rob Kollin, MS, MSM, lecturer in the Kent State College of Public Health, was recently featured as a guest on the Becker’s Healthcare Podcast. Tara Smith, Ph.D.

Tara Smith, Ph.D., professor of epidemiology in the Kent State University College of Public Health, has been named to the Stanford/Elsevier World's Top 2% Scientists list, an internationally recognized database identifying the most cited researchers worldwide. This honor is based on a recently updated study published by Stanford University and reflects the global impact of her scholarship and leadership in public health.
