Robert Kollin, MS, MSM

Rob Kollin is a Lecturer in the College of Public Health, primarily teaching Essentials of Health Insurance, Leadership, and Finance courses at the undergraduate and graduate levels. Before accepting the Lecturer position, he served as a College of Public Health Adjunct Faculty member from August of 2017 to May of 2022.

Kollin worked for 14 years at AT&T, holding various leadership roles and ushering in new products such as U-verse TV and the modern smartphone. AT&T named him one of the Top Managers in the Midwest in 2010. Kollin transitioned to Medical Mutual, where he was a manager leading the ancillary products operations team that supports the Medical Mutual flexible savings account, health saving account, and health reimbursement account products. 

His professional background allows him to bring course material to life by sharing applied experiences and examples. Kollin is a member of the Employers Council on Flexible Compensation (ECFC) and is a subject matter expert in the value and impact of health savings accounts for retaining economic stability into retirement.    

Kollin holds a business administration undergraduate degree from Baldwin Wallace University. He earned a Master of Science in positive organization development and change and a Master of Science in management-healthcare from Case Western Reserve University Weatherhead School of Management. Additionally, he is credentialed in development leadership through emotional intelligence from Case Western Reserve University Weatherhead School of Management. Mr. Kollin is currently enrolled in Doctor of Education, Interprofessional Leadership program at Kent State University.

His teaching experience includes serving as adjunct faculty at Baldwin Wallace University, Notre Dame College, Eastern Gateway Community College, and Cuyahoga Community College.
