Conference Histories
Previously, each university held an annual conference on topics related to diversity, equity and inclusion. This new alliance will allow the universities to come together for one conference that will share expertise and leverage their strengths.
Anti-Racism Conference
Kent State University
The Annual Anti-Racism Conference emerged from Kent State University’s Anti-Racism Task Force. The purpose of the conference is to create an awareness and understanding of anti-racism through an intersectional lens. The conference will allow attendees to explore the concept of anti-racism and its principles. The conference will also provide a foundation for advancing anti-racism across Kent State’s campuses.
Across the Divide
Miami University
The Across the Divide Conference is the university-wide Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion conference for Miami University, with a goal to promote a deeper community understanding of the key issues and diversity initiatives across the institution.
