Graduate Student Research Travel
The Graduate Student Senate Research Award is a competitive award that supports research or project-related expenses for graduate students. Once very academic year, graduate students may receive up to $2,000 to supplement research projects they are conducting. All graduate student research, including projects related to degree progression as well as independent research projects, are eligible for funding.
Graduate Student Senate Domestic Travel Award In order to help graduate student disseminate their current research, the Graduate Student Senate established the Domestic Travel Award. Recipients of this award may receive up to a $300 flat rate reimbursement for a single trip per academic year to defray the costs (e.g., transportation, room and board) of presenting at a conference within the contiguous United States and adjacent Canadian provinces.
Graduate Student Senate International Travel Award - Graduate students can receive this award for one trip per academic year to defray up to $1,500 for costs incurred while travelling to a professional conference or workshop outside of the contiguous United States and adjacent Canadian provinces.
