The Kent State University alumni family grew by nearly 1,200 new graduates as the university held its summer commencement ceremonies. The accomplishments of the Summer Class of 2023 were recognized with outdoor commencement ceremonies on Aug. 19.

Kent State Alumna Jennifer Schuller Named President of Lake Erie College

Kent State alumna Jennifer N. Schuller has been named president of Lake Erie College in Painesville, Ohio. She is the first woman to lead the institution in 75 years.

On May 18-19, the university community will celebrate Kent State University’s 113th birthday with its annual Day of Giving.

The Kent State University alumni family will grow by about 5,500 new graduates as the university holds its spring commencement ceremonies.

The Kent State University Board of Trustees has approved awarding Roe Green, MA ’80, a Doctor of Humane Letters, an honorary degree recognizing her contributions to the university and her advocacy for the arts not only in Northeast Ohio, but also across the nation and around the world.
