Kent State University School of Fashion assistant professor, Melissa Campbell, is tackling fiber art in her most recent project that focuses on personal evolutions and how people evolve and become their true selves.
Lauren Luna (B.F.A. ’00, Painting) has let nothing get in her way of her goal of making a living as an artist. Born in Columbus, Ohio, she moved to New York City shortly after graduating Kent State University with her B.F.A. and then ultimately to the city of Houston, Texas in 2011 to realize her dream.
The Kent State Museum’s newest exhibition, “Fortuna: Designs by Vincent Quevedo,” marks the first new exhibition for the museum since its reopening in August and is on display now. It features works by award-winning designer and School of Fashion Associate Professor Vincent Quevedo.

Kent State University brought home the gold after this year’s Akron ADDY Awards, with both professionals and students being recognized for their work. The ADDYs, put on by the Akron Chapter of the American Advertising Federation, celebrate the area’s best creative work in advertising.
