Students Address Real Issues Facing the Fashion Industry

Two School of Fashion students were recognized recently by the Fashion Scholarship Fund (FSF) as 2023 FSF Scholars.

The annual FSF Case Study Scholarship is the Fashion Scholarship Fund's signature program, asking applicants to address real issues facing the fashion industry today. This year, the organization recognized 127 FSF Scholars from colleges and universities across the United States. In addition to a financial award, FSF Scholars receive access to internships and full-time jobs through partner companies and enjoy ongoing professional development and support.

Kent State University’s School of Theatre and Dance is continuing its 2022-2023 season with the production of "Urinetown" running Feb. 24 through March 5.

Sarah Esposito, School of Art Adjunct Faculty and Alumni, Will Be Opening Her First Solo Show At Kink Contemporary

School of Art adjunct professor and painting M.F.A. alumni, Sarah Esposito, will be opening her first solo show, “Into the Syncline”, at Kink Contemporary in Cleveland opening on February 18, 2023. The show will include elements of painting and collage landscapes that mirror the artist’s relationship with the natural world. “Into the Syncline” is inspired by the folds in the earth’s crust, like those that form mountains and islands. Sarah Esposito has examined these formations recently in Colorado and other regional parks.
