Ceramics, glass, painting, textiles and more are all part of Kent State's Kent Blossom Art Intensives (KBAI). For two weeks each spring, students and artists come to the Kent Campus for focused learning, experimentation and creation under the guidance of artists from around the country.
Participants work on campus seven days a week from 9 a.m. - 6 p.m. with access to studio space, labs, equipment and tools at the Center for the Visual Arts (CVA) at Kent State University. At the end of the two weeks, the more than 100 pieces of art they have created are displayed in a gallery exhibition inside the CVA.
