Dress Up for Downs, a Kent State student organization recently held its 8th annual fashion show fundraiser . The event, themed "Hollywood Heroes," featured a runway show with designs by Kent State fashion design students and raised over $3000 for the Down Syndrome Association of Northeast Ohio. 

It was a night to remember in New York City as the future of the fashion industry came to life with the Kent State University School of Fashion's second fall fashion show. 

The creative talents of Kent State University's fashion students are taking center stage – literally – in the Big Apple for New York Fashion Week.

Omar Salam, founder and creative director of the global fashion house SUKEINA, will be making a special trip from the runway to Kent State University’s Rockwell Hall as Salam has been named the 2023 inductee of the university’s School of Fashion Hall of Fame.

Fashion students from Kent State and IFC Paris came together in a shared runway show during NYC Fashion Week. 

Fashion students from Kent State and IFA Paris collaborated to present their first runway show during New York Fashion Week 2022.
