The brightly colored blue and gold Mobile Flashes Wellness Unit from Kent State University’s College of Public Health will be hitting the streets to help bring public health services to the people of northeast Ohio.

Laura Gordon, '87, had such a fulfilling experience as a Kent State University student, that she now gives back so that others may find their way to the types of relationships and encounters that helped set her on her path. “I think it’s really important to give back when you’ve experienced such valuable support so it’s always been really important to me to be part of that,” she said.

Despite the economic impact of COVID-19, alumni, friends, faculty and staff came together to raise $2.3 million to support more than 2,300 students.
