Precision Flight Team
The Kent State University Precision Flight Team performed well at the National Intercollegiate Flying Association (NIFA) Region 3 SAFECON, hosted by The Ohio State University from Oct. 6-11. Kent State secured third place in the overall SAFECON Championship, demonstrating proficiency in both flying and ground events.
The Kent State University Precision Flight Team finished 11th overall out of 32 teams at this year’s NIFA SAFECON.
Last year, the The Kent State Flight Team brought home an impressive collection of competition trophies and the pilots are is ready to take flight to bring in even more wins this year.
An updated scoring announcement has propelled the Kent State University Precision Flight Team to a 2nd place overall finish at the NIFA Region III Safety and Flight Evaluation Conference (SAFECON) and secured their invitation to the 2024 National NIFA SAFECON in May.
The Kent State University Precision Flight Team proudly represented the university with distinction at the National Intercollegiate Flying Association (NIFA) Region III Safety and Flight Evaluation Conference (SAFECON), hosted by Western Michigan University at Battle Creek Executive Airport in October.
Congratulations are in order for the Kent State University Precision Flight Team for another successful appearance at the National Safety and Flight Evaluation Conference (SAFECON), hosted by the National Intercollegiate Flying Association’s (NIFA). The team competed from May 8th through May 13th in Oshkosh, Wisconsin.
