Students at Kent State's New York City Fashion location experience what it's like to live and work in the city's fashion industry. 

Couture creations by a senior fashion design major at Kent State's American Academy in Paris were recently highlighted in an Instagram post. 

Senior fashion design major Kayleigh McGreal has completed a semester abroad, a semester away and three fashion internships.

A unique class at Kent State New York City Fashion immerses students in different aspects of living and working in the city. 

New York couturière designer Pauline Trigère, whose career spanned more than five decades, left behind a legacy of fashion innovation meticulously preserved in volumes of sketchbooks and press clippings. Those volumes have had a home at Kent State University Libraries since 1993 and soon will be accessible to everyone. 

Students from Kent State New York City Fashion gained inspiration from a visit to New York's Metropolitian Museum of Art.
