Kent State graduate and Miami Valley native Macy Hudson has been named Miss Ohio USA 2024.
Hudson graduated in 2021 with a bachelor’s degree in fashion merchandising and amerchandising minor from Kent State University, and according to her LinkedIn profile is currently merchandise manager at Pure Couture Prom & Social in Dayton, Ohio. She’s also currently pursuing her MBA and is founder of 5:18 4LIFE, a nonprofit organization to bring awareness to rare blood disorders and the importance of blood donation in honor of her sister, Moriah Hudson Burrage, according to a report from WHIO. Hudson will represent Ohio at the Miss USA 2024 competition in California, later this year.
Another Golden Flash, Caitlin Seifert, recently threw her crown in the ring for the title of Miss Ohio in the Miss America competition on June 15.
Currently also holding the title of Miss Northern Ohio, Seifert earned a bachelor’s degree in fashion merchandising and double minors in marketing and entrepreneurship for non-business majors from Kent State in 2021, and a masters in international business administration from Kent State in 2023.
