A variety of food trucks gather in front of the University Library on Wednesdays to supply students, faculty and staff passing by with a quick bite to eat. And the Kent State community is taking advantage of it.

In honor of Banned Books Week, the Second Annual Banned Books Read-In was held in Taylor Hall.

Figure Skating Students Glide Into Silver and Pewter at Nationals

This past summer, two Kent State University students were awarded medals in the U.S. Collegiate Figure Skating Championships, sanctioned by U.S. Figure Skating, the national governing body for the sport of figure skating in the country. It is the highest level at which figure skating takes place at the college level.

Kent State Honored as a Military Spouse Friendly School

Kent State’s support for its military-connected community continues to embody leadership and inclusivity as the Kent Campus has been named an official 2022-2023 Military Spouse Friendly® School by Viqtory. Out of 1,800 participating schools, Kent State was one of 665 to receive the Military Friendly School designation in March, and the university is now one of 346 institutions to earn the Military Spouse Friendly School recognition.
