The Veterinary Technology Program offered at Kent State University's Trumbull and Tuscarawas campuses prepares program graduates for successful careers in veterinary practices, animal hospitals and farms of all sizes.

With the increase in the number of pets, the demand for veterinary care has surged. Kent State University is helping to offset the veterinary technician shortage by providing in-demand, career-ready graduates.

For the third consecutive year, Veterinary Technology students at Kent State University at Trumbull earned the highest three-year average passage rate in Ohio on the Veterinary Technician National Exam (VTNE), administered by the American Association of Veterinary State Boards (AAVSB).
