Hannah Barna Blake
Biography
Hannah Barna Blake is a graduate of Case Western Reserve University's MFA in Contemporary dance program, receiving the Grace J. Petot Award for Excellence in Research in Dance and the Henry Kurth Award for Excellence in Theatrical design in 2015. She also holds a BA from CWRU in biology and theater arts with a concentration in dance, receiving the Lily Dreyfuss Award from Excellence in Dance in 2012. Blake has performed works by Mark Morris, Jim Hanson, Karen Potter, and has been personally coached by Pascal Rioult for his duet, Black Diamond. Combining her interests in dance and science, Blake has presented at numerous International Association for Dance Medicine and Science (IADMS) conferences. Currently, Blake is an adjunct faculty member at The University of Akron, CWRU, Kent State University, and Cuyahoga Community College.
