Margaret Peebles

Lighting designer Margaret Peebles graduated from Kent State University in 2014 with a B.F.A. in Design and Technology. She went on to receive her M.F.A. in Lighting Design from the University of Connecticut. 

Most recently, Margaret served as the assistant lighting designer for Lin-Manuel Miranda's Freestyle Love Supreme which opened on Broadway in October 2019. Previously, she was assistant lighting designer for the Broadway production of Anastasia. 

Margaret's additional credits include lighting designs for Connecticut Repertory, Waterloo Arts, Trinity College, and Williamstown Theatre Festival. Her additional assistant lighting design credits include the Hartford Stage, Long Wharf Theatre, Shape Shifter Labs, and Porthouse Theatre.

Next, she will serve as assistant lighting designer for Signature Theatre's Off-Broadway production of "The Young Man from Atlanta," opening in November 2019.
