The School of Theatre and Dance Presents "Somewhere: A Primer for the End of Days" April 21-30, 2023

Kent State University’s School of Theatre and Dance is continuing its 2022-2023 season with "Somewhere: A Primer for the End of Days" running April 21 through 30 in Wright-Curtis Theatre, located in the Center for Performing Arts. 

In the midst of environmental calamity and the impending collapse of society, siblings Cassandra and Alexander track the world's last remaining monarch butterflies and come across a small group of people on a truffle farm preparing for the end of days.

This play is written by Marisela Treviño Orta. Fabio Polanco is the director and Alex Funk and Megan Gurtner are assistant directors. The production team also includes Lauren Downey as the production stage manager and Victoria Mearini as the costume designer. Lighting design by Amy Beery, sound design by Aliyah Dolinar, technical direction by Ezra Silkes and scenic design by Jenna Jamison. Puppet sequence staging is by Alex Funk and Natalya Lindsey is the intimacy coordinator. Karl Erdmann is the production manager and Tony Hardin is the director of the School of Theatre and Dance and producer.
