ADVISORY: Kent State University Board of Trustees Meeting, May 22

The Kent State University Board of Trustees will hold its next regular business meeting at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, May 22, at Kent State’s Cleveland Urban Design Collaborative at 1309 Euclid Ave., Suite 200, in Cleveland to consider the recommendations of the standing committees, proposed personnel actions and new business. Trustees will retire into executive session at 8:30 a.m. to consider specific topics as provided under Ohio’s “Sunshine Law.” The roll call vote for this session will occur in public in The Cleveland Foundation Conference Room at the Cleveland Urban Design Collaborative.

On May 22, the meeting of the full Board of Trustees will be held in person. A limited number of seats open to the public/university community will be available in person. For additional information, contact Charlene Nichol at cnicho22@kent.edu.

Information regarding the meetings of the standing committees has been posted on the Board of Trustees website at www.kent.edu/bot/meetings. The standing committees are recommending bodies of the full Board. No actions are taken at these meetings, and a quorum of the Board is not present.   

The Board’s May 22 meeting agenda will be posted by May 20 at www.kent.edu/bot/meetings.
