ADVISORY: Kent State University Board of Trustees Meeting, Sept. 18

The Kent State University Board of Trustees will hold its next regular business meeting at 9:30 a.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 18, in the Timothy D. Eippert Boardroom, Suite 412, at Crawford Hall, the new home of the Ambassador Crawford College of Business and Entrepreneurship, on the Kent Campus. The Board will consider the recommendations of the standing committees, proposed personnel actions and new business. Trustees will retire into executive session at 8 a.m. to consider specific topics as provided under Ohio’s “Sunshine Law.” The roll call vote for this session will occur in public in the Timothy D. Eippert Boardroom, Suite 412, at Crawford Hall.

The Board will also meet as a committee of the whole in person at 10:15 a.m. in the Timothy D. Eippert Boardroom, Suite 412, to receive various informational reports. No actions will be taken at this session.

Information regarding the meetings of the standing committees has been posted on the Board of Trustees website at www.kent.edu/bot/meetings. The standing committees are recommending bodies of the full Board. No actions are taken at these meetings, and a quorum of the Board is not present.   

The Board’s Sept. 18 meeting agenda will be posted by Sept. 16 at www.kent.edu/bot/meetings.
