Cheers! Interested in learning more about the minute-by-minute details of Brexit negotiations? Want to know more about what’s next in British politics? Business? The Royal Family?
On Wednesday, April 24, at 2 p.m. in the Moulton Hall Ballroom, Her Majesty’s Ambassador to the United States of America, Sir Kim Darroch, will speak to students and faculty at Kent State University to share information about these questions and more. In a conversation moderated by Mark Arehart of WKSU, Ambassador Darroch will discuss the latest developments for Brexit, British culture and business, and maybe even the Royal Family, followed by a Q&A session with the audience.
“I am honored to have an opportunity to meet with students at such an important Ohio university and to specifically hear what’s on their minds and to answer questions,” Ambassador Darroch said. “I am looking forward to an active exchange. Of course, I will also look to promote greater cooperation between Kent State University and the U.K. in general through student exchanges, joint research ventures and business development opportunities.”
Ambassador Darroch is visiting Ohio to meet with business, political, and education leaders over a two-day period.
