Kent State University and the Ambassador Crawford College of Business and Entrepreneurship celebrated the grand opening of Crawford Hall on Sept. 27, attended by more than 700 guests, including university leadership, faculty, students, donors, alumni and dignitaries. The crowd gathered to formally dedicate the modern and visually stunning academic facility during the university’s Homecoming week.
The dedication event included remarks from university leaders and Claire Crawford, granddaughter of Ambassador Edward F. Crawford, for whom the college and Crawford Hall are named.
“I am forever grateful to the Crawford family and the more than 250 donors who made this moment possible,” said Deborah F. Spake, Ph.D., dean of Kent State’s Ambassador Crawford College.
