Michael Gershe had a unique vantage point to capture Northeast Ohio's peak colors coming to life across the Kent Campus.
Gershe, a senior advisor in Kent State University's College of Aeronautics and Engineering, recently tagged along in the backseat of a training flight involving a university instructor and student.
Gershe shared several great photos with Kent State Today, including a shot of the Summit Street roundabout in front of the student center. (The roundabout opened in 2018, in case you were wondering.)
Gershe, who doubles as a professional photographer, also provided overhead glimpses of the fall at Dix Stadium, the Kent State University Airport, and the view a pilot would see approaching the runway.
