Faculty from Kent State's College of Nursing Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) program and the student services team welcomed juniors and seniors from Cleveland Central Catholic, a high school on Cleveland’s southeast side to Kent State University at Geauga’s Twinsburg Academic Center.
The students learned about Kent State’s two-year associate degree program, careers in nursing and admissions requirements.
Hands-on activities for the students included a handwashing exercise using a black light and interacting with Annie, the center’s newest patient simulator manikin.
