Kent State's Golden Flashes baseball team recently held its annual walk-on tryouts for students who want to play in the 2023 season. Any student seeking to try out had to be enrolled full time (at least 12 credit hours) on the Kent Campus and have proof of a recent physical examination.
The team recently had nine players who earned places on the Academic All-Mac Squad, which recognizes outstanding performance in the classroom and on the diamond. Also, four players were added to the All-Mac Team, which honors players who earned post-season accolades from MAC coaches.
