Local community leaders from Leadership Portage County got to see some of the creation and innovation that's happening every day at Kent State when they toured the DI Hub earlier this semester. The tour was led by Sarah McMahon, outreach program officer for Kent State's Design Innovation Initiative.

Kent State's DI Hub and its Reactor Shops and Labs contain collaborative workspaces, maker environments, classrooms, and event venues. The facility is a focal point of innovation and collaboration on campus, designed that enable the building to operate as an open-access collaborative maker and innovation accelerator. Its goal is to activate and inspire a community of inquisitive collaborators to facilitate cross-disciplinary communication and problem-solving
