Kent State and Gov. DeWine Encourage Students to Stay Home

StayHomeOhioKSULogoKent State University students have the chance to share why it is important to them to stay home and help stop the spread of COVID-19.

Ohio Gov. Mike DeWine put in place a stay-at-home order on March 23 to reduce the transmission of the coronavirus. The governor’s office is asking for college students to participate in a peer-to-peer video talking about why they are choosing to stay home during this critical time and to promote the statewide #StayHomeOhio initiative.

Kent State students can create videos explaining why they choose to stay home and use the hashtags #StayHomeOhioKSU and #StayHomeOhio to encourage their peers to stay home by posting on their social channels.

You can download the #StayHomeOhioKSU logo for your video. Just right click on the image and “Save Image As.”

Remember, we’re in this together, Ohio!
