Kent State University has inducted 53 employees into its 20-Year Club Service Awards Program for 2020.
The annual awards program, established in 1966, honors classified and unclassified employees who have dedicated 20 years of continuous service to the university.
The program celebrates these individuals who reach their anniversary during the fiscal year period, and traditionally holds a special recognition ceremony after the close of the fiscal year. This year’s recognition is online.
Upon reaching their 20-year milestone, employees are given their choice of an award gift of either a Kent State chair or lamp for their home or office, or to have a tree planted or a bench placed on their campus in their honor.
This year’s inductees are a diverse group from throughout Kent State’s eight-campus system.
