On April 27, the NYC Fashion campus hosted a watch party for Kent State's Annual School of Fashion show watch party in their space. Kent State alumni were invited to mingle and watch the livestream of the annual fashion show together.
Millie Ott, industry liaison – internship manager for the School of Fashion, organized the event and traveled to NYC. “The School of Fashion, being one of the largest programs at Kent State, means that we have an abundance of industry connected alumni," she said.

"These professionals provide the important role of fostering and networking to support our current students in their career development. I’m thrilled to be in New York for this annual event to have the opportunity to hear all about the amazing things our inspiring graduates are contributing to the fashion industry,” Ott said.
Ann Walter, director of NYC Fashion, attended the event before traveling to Kent to see the other School of Fashion events in person. She said, “New York City is one of the most important cities in the global fashion industry, so naturally many of our alumni move here after graduation!"
Walter said, "Our alumni family here in the city may be New Yorkers now, but they are also incredibly proud of their alma mater. Events like this are a great way for alumni to stay in touch with each other and connected to Kent State University!”
