About the Laboratory

The Evolutionary Neuroanatomy and Skeletal Biology Laboratories include a full wet lab with all necessary equipment for running histological, immunohistochemical, and enzyme-linked immunoassay procedures. A microscope suite with an Olympus BX51 microscope equipped with MBF Bioscience Stereo Investigator software includes a motorized stage and color digital camera for high-resolution image montage acquisition for brightfield and darkfield photomicrographs. There is also a dedicated maceration room with negative air-flow for working with skeletal elements.
