The Army ROTC Four-Year Scholarship is for high school students planning on attending a four-year college program.

Scholarship Requirements

• US Citizen-2.5 GPA Minimum
• Satisfactory completion of Department of Defense Physical Examination- Meet Army Height and Weight standards
• Pass an Army Physical Fitness Test
• Interview with the Professor of Military Science (on campus)

In order to be competitive you should have scores above the minimum requirements.

• Have an unweighted High School GPA of 3.5 of higher
• Have a SAT Score of 1200 or higher (Math/Reading)
• Have a ACT Score of 26 or higher
• Fullfill all three SAL (Scholar, Athlete, Leader) criteria. Those who fill all three get looked at more than those who do not.
• Have no civil convictions or medical issues

Officer Career Fields

The Army can offer you many paths as an Officer. Army branches can be categorized into Operations, Operations Support, Force Sustainment, and Information Dominance, each focusing on different aspects of military operations. 

• Operations: The operations process involves planning, preparing, executing, and assessing a mission.
• Operations support: Support operations ensure that military forces are ready and effective.
• Force Sustainment: Sustainment operations provide the logistics, maintenance, and support needed to keep military forces ready and effective.
• Information Dominance: Information dominance may be defined as superiority in the generation, manipulation, and use of information sufficient to afford its possessors military dominance.
