Biography
Piper teaches Art History for the Kent State University School of Art. She holds an M.A. in Art History and a B.S. in Anthropology from Kent State University, where she graduated with honors. Her thesis research focused on 15th century Sienese art, and she spent several semesters studying at Kent State’s campus in Florence, Italy. She has worked as a researcher and translator for the Uffizi Gallery, making her the first Kent State student to do an internship through the Florence program.
Piper has taught Italian Renaissance Art History at Walsh University and now teaches Art as a World Phenomenon and Ancient to Medieval Art History at Kent State.
