My first semester of college I was accepted into the Honors program Freshmen In Florence and spent the fall of 2019 studying in Florence, Italy.

I love to work as an Academic Coach because I can help students who are struggling just like I did during my first year on college. I think it is a good opportunity to give back everything I learned and help others to overcome any difficulties they might be having. Now, I am a tutor too, and I am excited to help more students to understand and succeed in their classes.

I am a part of CHAARG, a women's fitness organization on campus. I have served on the Membership Committee and as a Small Group Coordinator. I am also a member of the Student Dietetics Association, a professional development organization for Nutrition students.

I want to work at an architecture firm that specializes in historical preservation as a licensed architect.

I am also involved in our university's chapter of Kappa Kappa Psi (national honorary band fraternity) and serve as the Vice President of Membership for our chapter. In addition to this I also play trumpet in multiple bands here at Kent State.

What do you want to do after college?
I am honestly not sure what I want to do "when I grow up yet", I know that I want to be in a position where I am making a difference in the world of Public Health. I want to move to New York City and see public health working in such a large city. I want to travel around the U.S.A. and hopefully travel outside of the country as well to learn as much as I can about how other states/countries utilize public health, this way I can approach more permanent jobs with some experience. I hope to attend grad school after gaining some experience as well.

I am on the executive board for my sorority, Chi Omega. I was an SSL and EXCEL mentor my sophomore year and I was heavily involved with EXCEL my freshman year as a student as well!

I'm a manager at a local homemade ice cream shop, Heavenly Creamery, where we have over three hundred different flavors. We make really interesting flavors like corn and sweet potato cheesecake!

I am a member of Tri Sigma sorority and I hold two chair head positions for the Fall 2021 semester. I am also a member of Phi Delta Epsilon. I play the violin in a community string ensemble in Canton, Ohio and I also volunteer at rEcess, a monthly event that supports children with disabilities and their families.

I perform with the Kent Clarks a cappella group. I also volunteer at a hospital and work in a research lab this semester. Back home in Pittsburgh, I work in a nursing home and also volunteer in a hospital there as well.

I LOVE to sing, so outside of my academics I like to perform wherever available. Recently, I have performed at open mic nights at my high school voice studio.

I love to work as an Academic Coach because I can help students who are struggling just like I did during my first year on college. When I grow up, ideally id like to move out of state to become either a corporate or commercial pilot. However, directly after graduation, my dream would be to move down to Columbus and work at NetJets, which is a private jet company, as a private pilot.

I am in a multitude of clubs: Barefeet Dance Tribe, NEO Impact, NSBE (National Society of Black Engineers), The Navigators, and AAAE (American Association of Airport Executives). Next fall I will also be taking on a leadership opportunity in Kent State's Kupita/Transciones program. This is a cultural orientation/transition experience for incoming African American, Latinx, Hispanic, Native American, and Multiracial students into the University. So my job is to help mentor these students.

I've had so many people support me in my education (and help me through homework-induced mental breakdowns) that it feels good to be able to give some of that back to the world; plus, seeing students grow throughout the semester is so inspiring!

I play clarinet for Kent State's Marching Golden Flashes, and I currently serve as treasurer for our chapter of Kappa Kappa Psi, a national honorary band fraternity.
