ASC Tutoring offers free support for many Kent State courses through scheduled appointments and drop-in sessions. Tutors can help you review course content, practice problem-solving, and develop approaches you can use independently.

Choose the Tutoring that Works for You
Both options are free and led by trained peer tutors.

| Reserve a 50-minute session for a specific course. | Visit during posted hours without making an appointment. |
| Available in person or virtually. | Available for select Math, Chemistry, and Physics courses. |
| Sessions may include up to three students from the same course and instructor. | Offered at campus locations such as the Library and residence halls. |

What to Expect
Come with questions, stay actively involved, and leave with strategies you can keep using.
Before Your Session
- Attend class and identify the topics or questions you want to address.
- Bring relevant notes, assignments, course materials, and a computer if needed.
During Your Session
- Work through questions and examples with your tutor.
- Explain your thinking and practice applying course concepts.
Between Sessions
- Set goals and practice strategies for independent learning.
- Reflect on what worked and return for continued support.
