Kent State University psychology professor John Gunstad, Ph.D., received a grant of nearly $2.6 million from the National Institutes of Health to expand his Alzheimer’s disease research into a national study.

Forever Brighter is the most ambitious fundraising campaign in the history of Kent State University with a goal of raising $350 million. There are three primary campaign priorities - Prioritizing Student Success, Expanding University Initiatives and Building the Future.

The Brain Health Research Institute (BHRI) improves our understanding of brain function in health and disease. We  focus on research and education to understand the influences that impact brain health across the lifespan and use this knowledge as a window into the prevention and treatment of brain disease.
