Thank you for your interest in the Kent State University Alumni Volunteer Program (AVP). This venture was established to promote alumni involvement in the admissions and recruitment process and to help build relationships between alumni and prospective Kent State students from across the country. Kent State depends on our alumni to help identify and recruit talented high school students for possible admission. The more our alumni share their experiences and the Kent State story, the further the reach of the Admissions Office.
The Kent Student Ambassadors (KSA) were established by the Kent State Alumni Association in 1983 as a service organization. Today, this premier student group is supported by the Division of Philanthropy and Alumni Engagement and is comprised of Kent State's finest students.
Members actively participate in the community and on campus, inspiring pride in Kent State University. They also educate fellow Flashes on the importance of philanthropy and the role it plays in university operations and student support.
The Kent Student Center is located in the heart of campus. We provide a space for students, faculty, staff and university guests to socialize, study, hold meetings and host events.
We foster a sense of belonging and connection to campus through engagement and developmental opportunities that complement the academic experience of our students. Getting involved on campus is one of the quickest ways to become part of the university community and create your own Kent State experience. The Center for Student Involvement (CSI) offers opportunities for leadership and participation in student-initiated projects and student organizations.
The Center for Adult and Veteran Services enhances the experiences of adult, military-connected, and parenting students both in and out of the classroom. Our inclusive focus ensures an engaging student experience through programs, services, and compliance with military-connected federal agencies.
