Exercise Science Accreditation
Kent State University’s Exercise Science program is accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs (CAAHEP); it is also recognized by the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA).
About CAAHEP
As the largest programmatic accrediting agency for the health sciences, CAAHEP accredits nearly 2,000 programs across 28 health science professions.

About NSCA
NSCA recognizes Kent State’s Exercise Science program through its Education Recognition Program (ERP). Kent State’s distinction as an ERP university means its bachelor's degree (with strength and conditioning emphasis) meets NSCA’s recommended educational guidelines. ERP recognition is renewable on a three-year cycle.
