Kent State University’s Fleet Services has purchased two 15-passenger minibuses that can be used by departments for university travel.
The new minibuses are equipped with overhead storage, back-up cameras and larger windows for better visibility.
“The interiors are very spacious and comfortable,” says Nicole Corll, associate director for University Facilities and Management. “Ultimately, the goal of the minibuses is to provide a service to the students, faculty and staff to increase and enhance transportation options for group outings.”
In its quest to enhance teaching universitywide, the University Teaching Council is pleased to invite all Kent State University faculty to apply for the 2016 Summer Teaching Development Grant by Feb. 28, 2016.

At Kent State, we want to honor the celebration of our Native American and Indigenous culture by developing a calendar encompassing all the university events that are relevant to Native American Heritage Month. The Native American Heritage Month Planning Committee is welcoming university divisions, departments and student organizations to begin submitting their programming, activities and events to the University Events Calendar to be featured on the Native American Heritage Month Website.
