Legendary musician Bob Dylan is having some of his visual arts output exhibited at Kent State University’s Downtown Gallery. “Face Value,” a collection of 12 large portraits drawn in pastel, runs now through March 5 at the Downtown Gallery, located at 141 E. Main St. in Kent.
Jarrod Tudor, Ph.D., of Burton, Ohio, has been selected as the new dean and chief administrative officer of Kent State University at Geauga, located in Burton, Ohio, and Kent State's Regional Academic Center in Twinsburg. Tudor has served as interim dean of Kent State Geauga since July 1, 2014. He will begin serving as the permanent dean on Feb. 1, 2016.
"I am so excited to be provided the opportunity to continue the momentum we've established at the Geauga Campus as we work to transform and improve the Regional Campuses," Tudor said.

At Kent State, we want to honor the celebration of our Native American and Indigenous culture by developing a calendar encompassing all the university events that are relevant to Native American Heritage Month. The Native American Heritage Month Planning Committee is welcoming university divisions, departments and student organizations to begin submitting their programming, activities and events to the University Events Calendar to be featured on the Native American Heritage Month Website.
