Environmental Science and Design Research Institute (ESDRI) Undergraduate Fellows have the opportunity to apply for funding to support their research or creative activities.

Details:
* Fellows may apply once every academic year for funding, but preferably not during graduating semester.
* Fellows may apply for up to $3,000 over the course of their Fellowship. Requests for travel are limited to $1,000.
* Funding is on a first come, first serve basis, and some receipts may be required.
* Funds will be disbursed directly to the Fellow via scholarship or to the faculty mentor, determined on a case-by-case basis. Note that scholarship funds can only be awarded during a semester in which a student is enrolled in classes.
* Applications for funding are reviewed on a year-round basis. All applicants will be notified via their @kent.edu email address of whether you are approved or denied funding.
Eligibility:
* Only active ESDRI Undergraduate Fellows are eligible to apply for Fellows Funding.
* New Fellows must complete orientation and attend at least one other event to be eligible for funding.
* Fellows must have an ESDRI-affiliated faculty mentor overseeing the project to apply for funding. The faculty member will be required to write a recommendation letter upon application completion. Please notify them of intent to apply before submitting an application.
Requirements:
* If Fellows Funding is received, at least one presentation of ESDRI-funded research or creative activity is required in addition to the required ESDRI Research Showcase.
* ESDRI must be acknowledged on all products resulting from Fellows Funding. Logos are available upon request.

Money awarded may be spent on supplies, travel, a research stipend for you, conference attendance (and associated costs), printing costs, participation incentives, as well as other research-related costs.
