The Kent State University Museum and School of Theatre and Dance are teaming up to present a unique event celebrating the perennial glamor and allure of the 1920s.
This special program on Feb. 17 is presented in conjunction with the museum’s “Flapper Style: 1920s Fashion” exhibit and Kent State’s production of “Thoroughly Modern Millie.” The event will include a short preview of “Thoroughly Modern Millie” by members of the cast, followed by a talk by “Flapper Style” curator Sara Hume, Ph.D. Light refreshments will be served.
The event will take place Wednesday, February 17 at 2 p.m. in the museum’s Murphy Auditorium. Tickets are $10 per person. To register, please call Mary Gilbert at 330-672-0300.
