The Internationalization of Higher Education graduate certificate meets the needs in higher education for administrative leaders, staff and faculty to have a comprehensive understanding of internationalization, along with well-articulated skills, knowledge and dispositions to improve institutional capacity for internationalization. Students must have completed at least 6 credit hours in the certificate program before applying for an internship. Internships must be at community colleges or regional/extended campuses. Full Description

The College Teaching graduate certificate enhances teaching competencies at the post-secondary level. It is particularly appropriate for graduate students from any discipline interested in a career in college teaching, but also for adjunct and full-time faculty who are currently engaged in a career in academia.

Students may select from a variety of courses that emphasize the knowledge and practice of college teaching and the organizational culture of post-secondary education institutions. The certificate includes an internship in college teaching.

Additionally, students in the certificate program are encouraged to take effective teaching courses offered within their discipline specialty as part of the certificate requirements. This certificate program is grounded in the latest educational research of best practices in college teaching, and is designed to offer and/or enhance teaching and learning experiences.

Additive Manufacturing (online Micro-Credential)

Individuals who earn the 3D Printing Micro-Credential will learn about the construction and use of 3D Printers and be involved in hands on experience in building one from a kit themselves through our MERT 21096 INDIVIDUAL INVESTIGATION IN MECHANICAL ENGINEERING TECHNOLOGY online course.  In addition, an understanding of the plastics commonly used 3D Printers will be investigated in our ENGT 32101 POLYMERS I online course.  Here a description of various polymers, thermoplastics and thermosets is investigated, as well
