Celebrate Homecoming from wherever you are by becoming a citizen scientist for the day! Join us as we identify black squirrels from their captured photos via Zooniverse, a web portal owned and operated by the Citizen Science Alliance. It is home to some of the internet's largest, most popular and most successful citizen science projects. By engaging with the SquirrelMapper project, participants will contribute to an important scientific discovery about evolution in action in our own backyards. This activity will take place at noon EDT/9 a.m. PDT.
Join the KSU LGBTQ+ Center and LGBTQ+ Alumni Chapter to celebrate Homecoming with PRIDE. After the parade, meet at Bricco in downtown Kent for this no-cost event, including free food and a chance to socialize in an inclusive, welcoming space. This event is open to all!
