Ohio is conducting a statewide tornado drill on Wednesday, March 22, at 9:50 a.m. All Kent State University campuses will be participating in this test. We will broadcast a recorded tornado education message through university speaker systems and IP (Internet Protocol) phones throughout buildings on all Kent State campuses. This is only a test of the mass notification systems, and no shelter-in-place activities are required. Congratulations to Shannon Navy, Ph.D., associate professor of Science Education in the School of Teaching, Learning, and Curriculum Studies, for being named a Featured Researcher for spring 2023. A “featured researcher” is highlighted by each of the four EHHS schools once per year. These include faculty members who have been productive scholars in terms of the quality and quantity of their published work.
