In what has become a tradition, the Kent State East Liverpool Campus handed out nearly 1,000 children’s books during the city’s Christmas parade. Students, staff and family members gave the books to little ones along the parade route through a project now known as “Season’s Readings.” The books were purchased and/or donated by employees and students throughout the year. Thanks in large part to the generosity of students, staff, alumni and friends of the campus, Kent State University at Ashtabula surpassed its feature fund #KSUgives Giving Tuesday fundraising goal of $10,000, raising over $18,000 for the Susan J. Stocker Nursing Scholarship.
