Kent State student Stephen Stavnicky won the brass portion of Tuesday Musical's 2022 Annual Scholarship Competition, earning the $2,000 Arden J. Yockey Scholarship. He performed the first movement of Franz Joseph Haydn’s Trumpet Concerto in E-flat Major, the first movement of Sonata for Trumpet and Piano by Eric Ewazen, and “Intrada” by Otto Ketting.
