Kent State University Tuscarawas will host a screening of the documentary “The S Word; Let’s Talk Suicide” on Oct. 23 in the Performing Arts Center. Yanhai Du, Ph.D, acquired the largest grant award in Kent State’s College of Aeronautics and Engineering (CAE) history when the U.S. Office of Naval Research invested in his “Laser-Sintering System for Research on Additive Manufacturing of Advanced Fuel Cells.” The $485,000 award came in the summer of 2017 for CAE’s associate professor, but only recently has his vision for the funding been put into motion.
